Rules and Guidelines for Parade Participants

PARADE PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
1. All entries must be decorated and lighted.
2. Parade numbers (given at check-in) must be displayed on the driver’s side window.
3. Candy must be handed out ONLY; throwing items into the crowd is not permitted.
4. PLEASE split your candy into FIVE equal parts. Flags will identify increments of
20% along the route, assisting you in distribution and ensuring kiddos at the end get candy as well.
5. Participants are responsible for all float contents; littering/discarding decorations or
other materials is prohibited along parade route, private or public property and
dumpsters.
6. LIVE ANIMALS ARE PERMITTED, however, please be aware of temperature/weather
conditions are remove animals should conditions require it. Be certain all animals are
current of vaccinations, provide water breaks for animals, and REMOVE ALL FECES
generated by your animals.
7. Staging of entries is from 4:30-6pm. If you are not in position by 6pm, you may be
denied entry.
8. Parade begins promptly at 6:30pm.
